See the rest here. Ever wonder what would happen if the Dilbert franchise expanded into electronic greeting cards? Well, wonder no more. Here are 7 of my favorite e-cards from someecards.com.
A little mustard and you're good to go! Statistics are often hard to wrap our heads around particularly when the numbers involved are big. Chris Jordan has an ongoing project to help visualize the meaning behind some of these numbers. Here's what the number of cell phones being disposed of daily in the US look like.
Check out the other pictures of Chris' work. A simple 90 degree rotation makes for an interesting photo.
First seen on a post from Search Engine People. Ever have the feeling you're being watched?
I have no idea how this shutterbug pulled this one off, but it's a great shot. And if it cost a life, well I think it was worth it, don't you?
I'm one of those guys that thinks he's going to save the world with his Swiss Army knife (well, actually a Leatherman these days). Much better chances with the model below, wouldn't you say?
A new homeowner discovered this lint in the dryer that came with his house. Yikes!
Quite possibly the best eye shot I've ever seen. I'm guessing some Photoshop work to make the eyes appear they're on a face rather than on either side of the head like a reptile.
First spotted here. One of the better amateur, Despair-like images I've seen:
Can you really fire a gun while balancing on a Segway?
Apparently so since this is how in an anti-terrorism drill in Jinan, China ahead of the Beijing Olympic games. Optical illusions are all over the web, but most are boring. One of my favorite animated optical illusions is below. Here's what you do:
The human brain is a funny thing, no? OK. Maybe it's not such a secret considering all the consultant jokes floating around, but I don't think anyone has captured it better than the brilliant team at Despair Inc.
Now here's a something you don't see everyday. Apparently, the Russian Army has its armored vehicles blessed by the Church. Am I the only one that thinks this is an odd thing for a peace-loving institution to do?
First seen here. Nice!
Blatantly stolen from site I forgot to note, but that probably blatantly stole it from some other site. This sort of thing has been circulating for a while, but this is a great example of how we can read words even when the order of the letters is mixed up.
I was recently vacationing on the Big Island of Hawaii and spent an hour or so in a submarine. Conditions for shutterbugs like me weren't great 100 feet under water, but I did manage to catch these two fish doing their best to entertain us.
I came across this wonderful animated image that seems like a perfect metaphor for anything that is overly complicated.
